Glassy guides

Turn a photo collage into a scrolling video.

Build a multi-slide photo story in Glassy on iPhone, then let the view travel across it. Export one scrolling video instead of asking the viewer to swipe through separate images.

Make it with Glassy

A still canvas, set in motion.

Play this 10-second export from Glassy. The view travels between two workout slides while the glass card animation reveals its stats.

Silent preview. Playback starts only when you press play.

Make it step by step.

  1. Compose across more than one slide

Start with a multi-slide template or add slides to your project. Place photos, words and cards across the canvas in the order you want them to appear.

  2. Choose Scroll Video

Open the preview and export controls, then choose Scroll Video. Watch the view move across your composition instead of paging through it one image at a time.

  3. Set the pace and check the whole canvas

Adjust the scroll duration. Preview from beginning to end, checking that text stays on screen long enough to read and important details are not cut off.

  4. Export and share the video

Export the result to Photos and allow saving when prompted. Open the saved video to check its motion, then share it to the destination you choose.

Compose for movement, not just a screenshot.

Reveal one thing at a time

Let a wide scene lead into a close-up or a line of lyrics. Put enough space between focal points for the viewer to follow the movement.

Give words time to be read

A small caption can work in a still image but disappear too quickly in motion. Shorten the text, increase its size or slow the overall pace.

Keep the glass in context

Place translucent cards over areas with changes in light and color. Check their readability throughout the movement, not only at the opening frame.

Before you export.

How is a scrolling video different from a carousel or slideshow?

A carousel is a set of separate images that viewers swipe through. A slideshow changes from one image to another over time. A scrolling video moves the view across your connected composition and exports as one video file.

Can I make a scrolling video from a photo collage?

Yes. Compose the collage across multiple slides in Glassy, then use Scroll Video in the preview and export controls. You do not need to animate each still photo separately.

Does a lyrics card add a song or automatically timed subtitles?

No. A music or lyrics card is a visual layer. This workflow does not automatically add the full song or synchronize captions to audio.

What should I check before exporting?

Check the whole preview, available storage and Photos permission. Glassy marks Plus materials and paid export options in the app. This page demonstrates the workflow, not a promise that every material or export setting is free.
