When to keep Crsel

Crsel describes connected multi-slide posts, editorial collage templates, a swipe preview and a cutout tool. It also describes matching Stories and Reels covers. If coordinated formats are central to your work, test that workflow before moving to a different editor. A cover image is a different output from a full moving carousel.

When to try Glassy

Try Glassy for a trip recap where a place card belongs beside a photo, a concert post where a song becomes a visual layer, or a running recap built around recorded workout data. Compose the sequence on the same canvas and move layers across the seam. Add Liquid Glass where translucency helps the design, rather than applying it to every element.

Try a small project before switching

  1. Use copies of the same photos to make a two-slide test.
  2. Check how each editor handles a subject or word crossing the seam.
  3. Try the export format you intend to publish and review the result in Photos.
  4. Check local subscription prices and paid materials in each app. Existing projects should not be assumed to transfer between editors.
